J H Books requires certain personal information in order to correctly process and deliver orders. J H Books takes all reasonable steps to ensure the protection of personal information of users and their families.

When visiting our website or sending an e-mail to any e-mail address related to this website, you consent to receiving communication from us electronically and agree that all information sent by us satisfies any legal requirement.
We will not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties, unless agreed upon by you, for related educational services. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law.

Terms and Conditions
Supply Times
J H Books will endeavour to supply your order in the quickest possible time. Please note, however, that we are reliant on publishers having stock in print, and available in South Africa. Out-of-Print titles and Imported titles will be supplied as soon as they become available. J H Books takes no responsibility for any delays caused by any publisher.
Refunds
Please note that refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Books that have been damaged or written in after ownership of the books has been taken, however, will not be considered for return.

Cancelled Orders
Once the customer places an order online, J H Books then orders specifically for that customer. As such, any cancelled orders will incur a 10% handling fee.
Intellectual Property Rights
The content, trademarks and data on this website, including but not limited to software, databases, text, graphics, icons, hyperlinks, private information, designs and agreements, are the property of, or are licensed to J H BOOKS, and as such are protected from infringement by local and international legislation and treaties.

J H BOOKS or its representatives shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatever nature arising from the use or inability to use this website or the services or content provided from and through this website.
Furthermore, J H BOOKS makes no representations or warranties that the content and technology available from and on this website are free from errors and omissions or that the service will be one hundred percent uninterrupted and error free.
Should a courier service be used, all purchases from our website are made pursuant to agreements with delivery agents and risk of loss passes from us to such agents upon delivery of any goods to such agent.
Price
The price of any item displayed on invoices or the website includes Value Added Tax at the ruling rate.
Purchase and Sale
The sale agreement is concluded when a credit card authorisation is received from the issuing bank or a deposit/electronic funds transfer is credited to the bank statement of J H BOOKS, or cash is paid at our offices. Cash deposits at a bank must include a R35 deposit fee.
J H BOOKS will only be liable to refund money already paid by the user and will not be liable for any consequential loss.
J H BOOKS shall take all reasonable efforts to maintain correct prices on all goods. If, however, an error in pricing occurs, J H BOOKS will not be obliged to sell the goods at the incorrect price and shall only be liable to refund monies paid.

J H BOOKS may at its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice subject to compliance with the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008.
